I am from Solon, Ohio, and received my education at Cuyahoga Community College. I'm mainly interested in tutoring students in mathematics and science. This interest led me to participating in several student organizations and clubs. Sharing what I know with others has helped me to improve my own skills. Due to my high academic standing, I belong to several national honor societies, including Phi Theta Kappa (PTK). My tutoring philosophy is to set high standards, both for myself and my students. I know all students are capable of achieving much more than they thought possible. I don't let my students simply memorize the material; rather, I help them to truly understand the underlying concepts. I am available to tutor all levels of algebra, trigonometry, geometry, differential equations, pre-calculus, and calculus. I am trustworthy, patient, and try to make each lesson enjoyable by employing different approaches to the material to get the basic concepts across. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, programming, and playing the guitar.
